If you wish to explore deep seas or be a certified diver in India, you need to know swimming to join the certification courses for recreational diving. These are designed for people who want to take up this amazing sport in a more in-depth manner, and who want to keep exploring the oceans in different parts of the world.

There are many PADI, SSI or CMAS certified dive centers in India that conduct programs for scuba diving. Important to remember is if these schools are actually registered with PADI, SSI or CMAS to ensure quality control through the certifying agency.

Dive centers who have their own Dive Resort or Dive Center Number are registered with their Agency, who in turn can check them on quality control and procedures.
